Location: Dallas, TX Expanded shale from Arcosa’s Streetman, Texas plant played a prominent role in construction of the unique Klyde Warren Park. The twist? Much of the park was built on a structure above the Woodall Rodgers Freeway which travels in a tunnel under the park. Lightweight aggregate was specified to help reduce weight over the massive deck structure and acts as an engineered fill and drainage medium.
